Manual Encryption/Decryption |
|
When you have a file you would like to encrypt, you can do so anytime with Manual Encryption. Right-click on the file you want to encrypt and select "Send To", and then click on "WinSecure Manual Encryption".
1. Any filename containing more than 512 characters (including path name) is invalid for encryption due to Windows restrictions.
1. The file compression format used for the encryption is LHA.
2. The encryption is processed with the encryption key, which was generated by the Security Key entered at the time of installation. Please note, therefore, decryption can be processed only on the same PC where the encryption was done.
This feature enables you to decrypt your files manually. Double click on the encrypted file which you want to decrypt. You will be asked for your Authentication Access Code, if you set it up in the installation process. Enter your Access Code and click [OK]. The decryption process will begin once your Access Code is verified.
