|
Overview WinSecure Standard v. 3.1 is an integrated security solution package software, which enables authentication, PKI, and encryption/decryption of data with Fingerprint Token. "Fingerprint Token " is a compact and convenient 3rd generation authentication device. It enables identification authenticated with fingerprint data stored in the token. It is a highly secured approach compared to the conventional fingerprint authentication method, which matches the fingerprint data stored in the PC or the server. Since your fingerprint data is stored in the token, your privacy is protected, and a secure authentication is ensured. Features & Benefits Simply place your finger on the Fingerprint Token, and you can start up applications and web pages that you have pre-selected. You can also start up a particular application with a particular finger. For example, your index finger to start up your favorite web page, or your middle finger to run your game software. You can register up to six fingers (six different applications) for Finger Starter. Set up the restrictions on your computer to start up only by using the fingerprint token. With this function, you can set up to use one fingerprint token for one computer, or multiple fingerprint tokens for one computer. Once you store network or local login IDs and passwords in the fingerprint token, you can login to Windows and network systems by simply scanning your finger. You can store login information such as passwords and IDs for various applications in fingerprint token. SSO will automatically input login data for multiple applications. This feature provides automatic encryption for classified files on logoff and auto decryption on login. You can easily encrypt and decrypt files and folders in your computer, mobile HDD, smart media, SD, and floppy disks from Windows Explorer. WinSecure Standard enables users without WinSecure to decrypt files. With encryption key, non-WinSecure owner can decrypt files. Self-Decrypting file is created as an exe file. For users whose intranet system cannot accept exe file, this feature allows file senders to rename the exe extension to any name before it is sent out. If you disconnect the fingerprint token from your PC, you can set WinSecure to automatically log you off from the system.
If you disconnect the fingerprint token from your PC, you can set WinSecure to automatically locked in to screensaver. In order to unlock the screensaver, simply plug in the fingerprint device and scan your print. WinSecure can link user data to a time card system. With this feature, you can easily manage time card and attendance of employees. You can store digital certificate in the fingerprint token, and utilize it for various security services. 1) S/MIME Encryption Utilize the encryption/digital signature feature in industry standard mail software such as Outlook, Express, Outlook 98/2000, and Netscape Messenger. 2) Web Access Control (SSL Certificate) Establish robust web access control by utilizing digital certificates for client authentication. Only members with digital certificate can access secured web site. 3) Active Directory Smart Card Login (Kerberos Authentication) Kerberos authentication login has been supported before and after Windows 2000. It provides PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) login authentication as a standard. As PKI can be saved in the token, you can logon to Active Directory via your fingerprint.
Simply deleting a file doesn't mean it's gone from your computer. e-Shred will destroy your deleted file(s) beyond recovery, offering three security levels of file overwriting. |
