Overview

WinSecure Lite is a security software
product that does not require any authentication device.
More than
1,920,000 licenses have been already shipped and it is
deployed in Toshiba laptop computers as standard security software in Japan. WinSecure Lite adopts the Triplo Block Encryption
Algorithm for file/folder/drive encryption and protection of the
password management and automatic input data.
(Triplo is an
enhanced version of 3-DES.)
Features & Benefits
Password Bank
It enables users to
save user IDs, passwords and other information, up to about 50
applications. When you run WinSecure Lite, it automatically inputs that
data into application login screens. Since the system remembers all the
data, you do not have to remember all that information. System
Administrators can also save time on managing end-user passwords.
Self-Decryption
You can encrypt a file and send it to a
recipient who is not a WinSecure Series software user. Simply share the encryption key
(password or passphrase) with the
recipient, and when they receive the file, they just double click, enter the
key, and the file is immediately decrypted.
Auto Encryption/Decryption
This feature will automatically decrypt files, folders, and even entire drives (except system
files) when you are authenticated at start up or log on, and encrypt the
selected files/folders/drives on logoff. Set it up once and you'll
never have to worry about forgetting to encrypt your important data.
Group
Encryption/Decryption
A group of WinSecure Series 3.0 (or greater) users can share an encryption key
so that any member may encrypt or decrypt the same files, folders, or
drives.
Manual Encryption/Decryption
You can easily
encrypt and decrypt files/folders/drives by right clicking on them and
selecting to encrypt, or by dragging and dropping to the WinSecure
desktop icon.
