Bank Setup & Operation
Password Bank Features
Password Bank allows users to save and access various
IDs and passwords in one place. Password Bank allocates the correct data automatically for the
particular application that you want to use. Lotus Notes, email, accounting software, membership
websites, online trade, Internet banking etc. Password Bank can save IDs and passwords around up to
50 applications. You can setup Password Bank either with using Wizard
for popular applications, or with setting up data entry manually.
How to Set up Password Bank
From "Start"
menu on Windows, open "WinSecure Lite" and click on "Password
Bank Setup" If you set authentication Access Code in the installation process,
Authentication Access Code will be requested as follows. Enter the Code and
click [OK] to proceed. (Authentication Access Code is to verify your
identity.)

[Password Bank Setup] screen appears.

Once you see the above screen, open either Web applications or general
applications you want to set up the Password Bank. These applications should require IDs and password input.
Note: Make sure to open an application before or right
after you open [Password Bank Setup] screen above. If you open the applications after you press [Add] button,
you can not proceed setup.
Open an application
(in this case, it is web application),
here we use yahoo e-mail screen as an example.

While the Web
application is open, click [Add] in [Password Bank Setup Screen]. You see [Add Data to Password Bank]
screen on the top left corner. Click [Web Application Settings].

The next screen is [Set
Password Bank (1/3)].Type in an application name you want to register, and click [Next] to proceed.

[Set Password Bank (2/3)] screen is displayed next. If you are opening
multiple applications, select the target application by clicking the
[Next] button until you see the target application name appears in the box
on the right
Note: You see that the target application window is blinking.

Here is the explanation
of the buttons in the above [Password Bank Setup (2/3)] screen, showing from
left to right.

A denominator shows how many application windows are

Click [Detail Settings],
and [Window Title Setup] screen
will appear. You can set up
the application windows name,
which Password Bank uses for application search. You can either use the default already shown on the screen,
or change it. After you input the
data, click [OK] to proceed.

You are back to
[Password Bank Setup (2/3)] screen. Press [Next Step] to move on to the
[Password Bank Setup (3/3)] screen. If you are setting up Web
application, you will see (1) screen. If you are setting up Windows-based application, you will see (2)
screen.

time you enter data, setup to press button, etc. Otherwise, your action will not be included.

you entered are correct. You can
delete actions from this list. (You can not add actions directly to the list)

Move cursor to the target input
position - Use [Previous Item] and [Next Item] to move cursor to the
target item. You will see your cursor blinking on the
application screen.
Enter the data in the Setup screen. -The data itself will not be shown on the [Password Bank
Setup (3/3) ] screen. It is shown
as [*****] format. After you enter the data in the box, click [Add Action] to
register your action in the list.
Click button – If you
need to press button on the application screen, check off [Click Button] and press [Add Action].

Target application screen

Note:
When you input data,
make sure to type in [Password Setup] screen. If you are directly typing in an application screen, you are not setting up
Password Bank.
If the input mode has a
choice from pull down menu, you can not set up that item. If pull-down menu column accepts data,
you can set up the data in Password Bank.
Repeat the above actions, entering data and pressing the [Add Action]
button, or [Press Button] and [Add Action] and so on, until you finish.
You can check your actions with [List of Actions]
either in the middle of the process, or after you have completed all actions. You can delete
an action if it's
unnecessary.

Once you finish all
input, you will be asked if you
want to test the setting. Click
[Yes] to test, or [No] to move on.

Wizard Setting
You
can register applications to the Password Bank using the Wizard. Password Bank Wizard provides you with ready-made templates
that quickly guide you through the process for selected popular web sites. All you have to do is to download
templates for the selected applications and enter your IDs and passwords for
registration. If the application
screen design is changed, you need to update your template. You can download the latest versions
from the Wizard page.
How to Register Applications using the Wizard
The
Password Bank Registration Wizard screen will
appear on the screen when you click [Wizard] on the Set Password
Bank screen.

You will see the list of
templates that are already installed. Click [Download] to download the latest
templates from our FTP site.

Choose one template you
want to register from the list, and click [Next]. You will see the registration screen
which supports the template. Input data in the highlighted boxes,
and click [Next] to proceed.

You can see the details
of the template when you click [help] at the lower left.
You will see the setup
screen for the template you chose.
Click [register] after
entering the numbers. You will then go back to the registration screen. Then choose
the table you have registered.
Enter the required
information shown on the right side of the registration screen. Click [Next].

Click [Finish] to back to the first [Password
Bank Setup] screen.
Running Password Bank
You will see
the Password Bank icon on the Taskbar, as shown below, in the bottom right
corner of your screen while it is monitoring Windows.

Open the application registered in Password Bank, and click the Password
Bank icon in the Windows task bar, as shown above.
Once you open
the application you registered in Password Bank, it will automatically
search the Window, enter the registered data, password, etc. and execute
all the actions according to the settings that have been specified by
you. These operations can be
done manually if preferred.
Note:
1. If you set up Authentication Access Code, it
will ask you to enter the Code every time you run the
Password Bank.
2. Password Bank may stop monitoring temporarily depending on the
application it is processing. This
is not a malfunction in the functionality of Password Bank.
